A fourth generation Spokanite, and lifelong Lutheran, Arianna grew up on the north side of Spokane. Even at a young age she was encouraged take leadership roles in the church. She studied Theater at EWU and taught High School before going to seminary (pastor school). After serving in Ft Meyers FL, Napa CA, and Lewiston MN she is happy to be back home in the Inland Northwest.
She shares her home with (in no particular order) three cats, a husband, and two daughters. The bumper sticker on her car says ‘Keep Church Weird’ because, “at it’s heart the message of God’s Law and Gospel is weird stuff! One of the foundations of Lutheran Theology is paradox – where two opposite things are true at the same time. You have to admit that’s weird.”
Please feel free to contact Arianna for conversation, questions, or your interpretation of ‘Keep Church Weird’.
