David Ophus is a Wisconsin native who has spent most of his career as an ordained pastor. Trained as a vocal music teacher, after his graduation from Luther Seminary, David and his wife Jane, a registered nurse and home economics teacher, spent most of their ministry in Montana. David and Jane have two children; John, a biology professor, and Becky (husband Brian), an industrial attorney.
